What is the Schulich Leaders Program?

From Engineers to Entrepreneurs

Schulich Leaders is the Technion’s Entrepreneurship Program, which provides an outstanding team of undergraduate students with the tools to develop an entrepreneurial career path in startup, industry, and academia.

The program, initiated and supported by the Canadian Schulich Foundation, provides participants with the best and most relevant theoretical tools in entrepreneurship, hands-on project development experience, a supportive community, and mentoring by academics and industry key figures.

Our premise is that the Technion has tremendous potential for projects thanks to its outstanding graduates and the highest level of academic, scientific, and engineering training. The purpose of the Schulich Leaders program is to provide its students with training and entrepreneurship experience that will help them bridge the gap between an idea and its implementation and between being engineers, scientists, and entrepreneurs.

The studies in the program include courses that provide vital knowledge in entrepreneurial and business thinking, soft skills workshops to improve the ability to stand in front of an audience and teamwork, meetings with entrepreneurs from various entrepreneurial fields for inspiration, and significant experiences in developing personal ventures.

To make time for learning and developing ventures, program participants receive a tuition scholarship and an annual living scholarship throughout the years of participation in the program.
